Our lead product developer, Chiara, went deep down the rabbit hole to understand why most coffee-flavoured proteins just don’t taste right.
But this wasn’t driven by curiosity alone. We wanted to understand exactly what causes that artificial, bitter, or flat coffee flavour so we could do the complete opposite.
What we discovered is that coffee is incredibly complex. Its flavour isn’t made up of a handful of compounds. It’s built from thousands of individual flavour molecules that work together to create the aroma and taste we all know and love.
That meant there were no shortcuts. To get it right, we had to rebuild those flavour layers from the ground up.
And that’s how Signature Iced Caffè Latte was born.
