What are the dosage recommendation for Beta-Alanine?
The standard dosage of beta-alanine is 2–5 grams daily.
Why do I feel tingly when taking Beta Alanine?
While the cause of beta-alanine-induced paresthesia (i.e. the tingles) remains somewhat unclear. A working theory is that beta-alanine activates sensory neurons that terminate in the skin, leading to tingles, itching, and sometimes increased body temperature.
There is no evidence to suggest that this side effect is dangerous for your health.
