Slippery Elm Bark: Soothe the gut lining by forming a protective coating when it mixes with water and is an excellent source of nutrients that nourish the cells of the gastrointestinal tract, allowing them to repair themselves.
Aloe Vera: The inner part of Aloe vera leaves helps to soothe the digestive system and inflamed gut lining and support immune function. The leaves are also a rich source of several nutrients which all help to support healthy intestinal function. This does not contain Aloe latex (the part of the aloe leaf with laxative effects).
Grape Seed: Protect intestinal tract cells, support detoxification and help to reduce inflammation.
Globe Artichoke: Protect an overburdened liver and digestive system. It may be useful for individuals with medically-diagnosed Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Other more traditional uses for this herb include helping to relieve symptoms of poor liver function such as indigestion, nausea and itchy skin; and stimulating bile flow in the liver, which then supports better digestion of fats.
