METHOD

  1. Add tuna, navy beans and oats into a mixing bowl
  2. Pour egg whites into mixing bowl
  3. Crush garlic and put into mixing bowl
  4. Finely chop onion, celery, capsicum, parsley and throw in mixing bowl
  5. Zest half of lemon and place in mixing bowl
  6. Add pepper to the mix
  7. Thoroughly fold all ingredients (with hands) until a mince-like texture is formed
  8. Oil a baking tray and make two burger patties
  9. Place in oven for 25-35 minutes
  10. Serve immediately

TIP: Prepare multiple patties in the one batch and freeze uncooked for later use.
