The Benefits of CLA and Fat Loss

Conjugated Linoleic Acid

Many people today struggle with the inability to lose weight along with the significant health problems and self-esteem issues that go along with being overweight. Recent studies into a new supplement known as conjugated linoleic acid or CLA have shown that it is possible to lose weight, specifically belly fat and improve muscle tone through the use of this supplement. The results of this study showed that the individuals who took the CLA supplement were able to lose weight over the course of the holiday while still indulging in the normal Christmas holiday goodies. Just as with the first group, they also reduced the amount of physical activity they participated in and still had excellent results. One of the most promising results of both studies is the fact that individuals were able to lose fat in an area that is normally challenging, which is in the lower abdominal area.

Tonalin CLA Capsules

Tonalin CLA is a supplement that is designed to increase lean muscle mass while reducing unneeded body fat. CLA is a more recent supplement that is derived from natural safflower oil. Studies have shown that people who take a supplement containing CLA are able to lose more body fat than with similar products that claim to do the same. According to manufacturers, CLA achieves fat loss by helping to prevent fat absorption. In fact there are four different ways in which CLA helps to reduce body fat:

Food products that contain natural sources of CLA include grass fed animals such as lamb and beef as well as meat and dairy products produced from grass fed animals. In fact researchers state that meat and dairy products that come from grass fed animals can produce up to five hundred percent more CLA than those of cattle that is fed on the usual diet of grains and hay. Eggs are also rich in CLA and studies have shown that the CLA found in eggs is not affected by the higher temperatures used if eggs are fried. Of course the most recommended course of action for losing body fat, including that in the lower abdomen area, is by a adhering to a proper diet along with a steady and consistent exercise routine.
