Satisfy your sweet cravings with this simple, light and refreshing dessert made of fresh strawberries, yogurt, fat-free cream cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice and topped with macadamia nuts. It is low in fat and calorie, yet packed with protein, fibre, vitamin C, calcium, antioxidants and some friendly bacteria (probiotics).

INGREDIENTS

0.13 cup (30 g)
  Fat-Free Cream Cheese
1.00 tub (208 g)
  Non-Fat Yoghurt, Vanilla Flavoured, chilled
15.00 mL (17 g)
  Fresh Orange Juice
3 g
  Orange Zest, grated
10.00 berry (120 g)
  Fresh Strawberries, halved
13 g
  Macadamia Nuts, roasted
 

METHOD

1. Break cream cheese in a medium bowl using a fork..

2. Using an electric hand mixer, beat cream cheese mixture at high speed until light and creamy.

3. Add in yoghurt, orange juice and zest.

4. Layer the orange cream and strawberries in dessert dishes or wineglasses. Top with chopped macadamia nuts.

5. Serve and enjoy (if not serving immediately, cover and refrigerate for up to 8 hours).
