SUMMARY

 

Spinachberry salad is healthy, high fibre and low in fat.  Monounsaturated fat improves blood cholesterol levels, which can decrease your risk of heart disease.  Spinach is a very good source of dietary fibre, protein, vitamin A, C, E, K, B1, B2, B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper and manganese. Meanwhile, strawberries are a very good source of dietary fiber, vitamin C and manganese.

METHOD

  1. In a large bowl, toss together the spinach and strawberries.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, sugar, paprika, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.

  3. Pour over the spinach and strawberries, and toss to coat.
