INGREDIENTS

  onion, sliced
3.00 Juice of 1 lemon (141 g)
  lemon juice
3.00 teaspoon (7 g)
  paprika
1.50 teaspoon (3 g)
  cayenne pepper, ground
 

METHOD

1. Rinse onions in sieve under cold running water; drain.

2. Transfer onions in a medium bowl, add lemon juice, paprika and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Cover and let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving to absorb flavours.

4. Serve as table condiment with Indian foods.
