SUMMARY

 

A tasty, meaty and healthy snack in just 30 minutes! Button mushrooms, milk, egg, flour and breadcrumbs are its main ingredients. It is low in fat because it is oven-baked till crispy and golden. Also a great starter or you can add onto your favorite salad as a meal!

INGREDIENTS

100 g
  Button Mushrooms, whole
25 g
  Skim Milk
0.50 egg (19 g)
  Egg
13 g
  Wheat Flour
13 g
  Breadcrumbs
0.25 teaspoon (2 g)
  Garlic Flavored Salt
 

METHOD

1. Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C).

2. Place milk, flour and egg in individual small bowls; set aside.

3. Combine breadcrumbs and flavored salt in a medium bowl; set aside.

4. Submerge each mushroom in milk; shake off excess liquid and dredge in flour.

5. Submerge in beaten egg; dredge in breadcrumbs.

6. Place on baking sheet; repeat with remaining mushrooms.

7. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

8. Serve warm.
