Wonderful pancakes that are too healthy to be true. A delicious, low GI breakfast treat which is made of  rolled oats, cottage cheese, egg whites, skim milk, Splenda and cinnamon. It is also loaded with protein, fibre, calcium, and vitamin B's. Following a low-glycemic diet means reducing many of the refined grains and sugars in your diet which may help you lose weight and control blood sugar levels. But you can still enjoy some sweet breakfast choices by topping it with fresh fruits like strawberry and banana slices.

INGREDIENTS

1.00 cup (95 g)
  Rolled Oats, raw
75 g
  Low-Fat Cottage Cheese, creamed
0.50 cup (130 g)
  Skim Milk
2.00 egg (60 g)
  Egg Whites
2.00 teaspoon (4 g)
  Splenda Sugar Blend
0.50 serve (1 g)
  Vanilla Extract
5 g
  Canola Oil
0.50 teaspoon (1 g)
  Cinnamon, ground (for dusting)
 

METHOD

1. Blend all ingredients in a blender.

2. Lightly grease skillet and cook mixture for 2-3 minutes on each side over medium-low heat

3. Top with sliced fresh strawberries or banana.
