This strength building recovery aid combines three popular ingredients which claim to support better energy production and improved strength. ZMA is a formula replicated here in Musashi SMA capsules. Together, the ingredients are meant to primarily improve strength, help energy production, power and stamina.
These are pills and the instructions recommend taking 4 capsules everyday within 30 minutes of sleeping. Together, the formula resembles a psychosomatic formula, so wild dreams are commonly reported.
This is essentially a combination of a 4 minerals and vitamins in specific forms. For that reason, there is no doubt that it is not a magic formula, and you can likely get the same exact effects it is marketing by getting really solid nutrition. If you're a supplement junkie, this might be a product you think is worth a shot.
I did sleep extremely well on this stuff, and did have some really vivid and strange dreams, which was fun. It was hard to tell if I got any specific, or unique benefits in my strength or power, stamina, etc because I was taking this. I did feel really well rested the morning after, so I suppose it is good to get a big fat dose of ZMA before bed, especially if you're training regularly.
This formula is made up of Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Zinc and Manganese. A very simple formula, and all ingredients which are usually found in a balanced diet. If you eat lots of veggies, fruits, fish and lean meats, you'll be getting all of this stuff in adequate amounts. Usually, overloading on minerals and vitamins doesn't do anything for you, because when max levels are reached, the body can't do anything with all the extra. If you eat a lot of junk, then taking this won't hurt at all and I would actually recommend it.
There are no calories in the caps because they are none in vitamins or minerals.
Value for Money
This is a little pricey for something meant to be taken everyday and in the quantities suggested– you're looking at just 2 weeks worth of pills, running you at around dollar for each serving. You may be able to find all of the ingredients individually in larger serving sizes. If you don't mind shopping around, then its not a bad idea. If you are a little lazy, like a lot of us, and don't have the best diet and don't mind spending a little more for convenience, then this product is worth it.
Overall, not too bad. You do get a really awesome sleep on them, but its hard to tell if its improving energy metabolism for sure, as well as if it is improving strength, or if all the benefits are just blended results of working out, good protein and good nutrition.
