  basil, dried
0.25 tablespoon (5 g)
  olive oil
1.00 clove (3 g)
  garlic, peeled
0.50 onion (45 g)
  onion
0.50 cup (128 g)
  soup stock
1.25 cup (231 g)
  Tomatoes, canned, chopped
 

METHOD

1. Dice and fry onion and garlic until golden brown

2. Pour in 4 cups of canned tomato, bring to boil, and simmer for 5 minutes

3. Pour in a pint of stock, simmer again for 5 minutes 4. Add dried basil, season with salt and pepper to taste 5. Blend to have a smooth texture
