I am a bodybuilder and I ascribe to the theory that 6 meals a day, 3 hours apart helps nitrogen balance and retention. But I am starting a labouring job soon where I cannot get the proper nutrition in. What am I gonna do? Will this stop me building muscle?I cant drink a shake because my boss is watching. Is there any pill I can pop to get some protein in?What can us workers do to keep the meals up?Thanks,George

Hi George,

You can definitely get your hands on BCAA type pills to pop, something like these:

Or, you can keep one or two premixed/ ready to drink in your lunch bag where they'll stay cool if necessary. Drink this when you would normally take a water break. Don't forget you can drink it steady throughout the day or over a couple of hours and it will still do the trick for you! You can pick from one of these:

There are also meal replacements that you could try out, grabbing a bite on your 15 min breaks.

Best of luck!
