Ham rollups are an easy and elegant appetizer that is low in calorie and high in protein.  It may be prepared in advance and chilled.  Ham is a tasty alternative to beef, chicken and fish. Like other meat sources, ham is very rich in protein which helps keep our immune system function properly and maintain the healthy of our skin, hair and nails.

INGREDIENTS

0.50 tablespoon (8 g)
  Mayonnaise, fat free

  Mustard

  Ham, lean
6 g
  Alfalfa sprouts
 

METHOD

  1. Combine Neufchatel cheese, mayonnaise, and mustard in a small bowl, stirring well.
  2. Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly over ham slices,and top with alfalfa sprouts.
  3. Carefully roll up ham slices, jellyroll fashion, securing with wooden picks.  Cover ham roll-ups, and chill thoroughly.
