METHOD

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over moderate heat. 
  2. Add the apples, and cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the apples with the splenda, nutmeg, and apple juice. 
  4. Continue to cook, shaking the pan, until the sugar melts and the mixture comes to a boil.
