INGREDIENTS

  cornstarch
0.25 sheet (28 g)
  wholemeal pastry crust
75 g
  golden delicious apples
75 g
  jonathan apples
0.50 apple (83 g)
  granny smith apples
0.38 cup (109 g)
  apple, concentrate
 

METHOD

1.  Slice apples thinly.

2.  Measure just about 1/4 cup apple concentrate into a small bowl.

3.  Then stir in the cornstarch and all of the spices.

4.  Place the remainder of the apple concentrate into a large skillet with the apples.

5.  Simmer the mixture gently until the apples are just tender. Lightly stir in the cornstarch mixture until it gets quite thick. 

6.  Pour into baked pie shell.
