What's the quickest way to lose your stomach?
Answer
Losing your stomach is something that many people struggle to accomplish.
Around your waistline, disregarding internal organs, you have abdominal muscle tissue and body fat. Abdominal muscle tissue does not have the ability to grow to the point where it will cause you to have a belly, so losing your stomach will therefore be a result of reducing body fat in this region.
To accomplish a reduciton in bodyfat, you need to create a calorie deficit, ideally through both exercise and nutrition. It is important to note that you cannot lose fat only from the stomach region - this is known as spot reduction and is a complete myth. Hence this is why crunches or sit-ups are highly ineffective at reducing your stomach size.
The combination of a cardio and weights exercise program, in conjunction with a healthy approach to nutrition is going to be the most effective way to reduce your stomach.
