The latest additions to the website are two new supplements from AST Sports Science:
VP2 is an industry leading Hydrolysed Whey Protein Isolate (WPI). Hydrolysed WPI is absorbed much faster than standard WPI. The real benefit is that an increased absorption rate can assist in the faster delivery of vital amino acids for building muscle and recovering from an intense workout.
Due to the additional processes incurred through hydrolisation, VP2 does work out more expensive than a standard WPI protein powder. Yet it is undoubtedly one of the world leaders in protein powder manufacturing because of the extremely high quality of this product.
The other drawback in the VP2 hydrolysed WPI is the taste. Whilst the protein powder tastes quite good, it doesn't taste quite as great as some of the others on the market.
