SUMMARY

 

A delectable dessert recipe with ricotta cheese, yogurt and stewed cherries. Full of flavor and nutrition yet low in calories, great for weight watchers!

INGREDIENTS

1.00 cup (153 g)
1.00 Juice of 1 lemon (47 g)
25 g
0.50 cup (125 g)
  water
1.00 cup (260 g)
1.00 tub (208 g)
0.25 cup (37 g)
1.00 teaspoon (2 g)
 

METHOD

1. In a small bowl, mix ricotta and yogurt. Chill until ready to serve.

2. Combine cherries, lime juice, water and Splenda in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Allow to cool. 

3. Spoon ricotta mixture into dessert cups. Top with cherry sauce and sprinkle with almonds and cinnamon.

4. Serve and enjoy.
