  RECIPE - CINNAMON-SPICED CARROT SOUP

This easy and healthy soup recipe is a great starter to any meal, it is low in fat and only has 57 kcalories per serve!

INGREDIENTS

2.00 tablespoon (27 g)
1.00 onion (89 g)
4.00 carrot (244 g)
4.00 cup (1,020 g)

1.00 cup (260 g)

0.50 teaspoon (1 g)
2.00 teaspoon (4 g)

METHOD

1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan. Stir-fry onion for 2-3 minutes or until tender.

2. Add carrots, stock and thyme. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes.

3. Place in a blender and blend in batches.

4. Put the carrot mixture back into the saucepan, stir in milk and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until heated through.

5. Ladle in serving bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon and coriander.

6. Serve and enjoy.
