Cat was a 40 year old mother of three and wasn't happy with her body, feeling out of shape and unhealthy. She became determined to lose weight and tone up for good...and boy did she, losing nearly 10kg of weight and 13cm off her waist!
Cat's Testimonial about our Online Personal Training Services:
My 12 week program with Amino Z was an extraordinarily rewarding and informative experience. Jay helped me reach my goals and set up sustainable habits that will help me maintain my fitter, healthier body. Expertise, enthusiasm, encouragement and a sense of humour were all part of the service from Jay. Most importantly for me he provided me with accountability. In the past it has been far too easy for me to make excuses and put my health and fitness efforts off ‘until tomorrow’. How true is it that ‘tomorrow never comes’? Well…not if you grit your teeth, take the plunge and get Jay to tailor make a program that constantly changes to suit your needs and abilities.
When I started the program I was a very demoralised fat and flabby 40 year old mother of three. I was beginning to think that increasing age, child bearing and gravity had taken their inevitable toll. I didn’t like what I saw or how I felt, either emotionally or physically. Now I am a fit and fabulous 40 year young woman with far more energy to enjoy her three children! I’m no oil painting; however, I feel great about myself. Not just because of my trimmer body. I feel great because I valued myself enough to do something about what was happening to me. I cannot begin to thank Jay enough for providing me with the tools to achieve this.
From the Trainer (Jay Bonaretti):
Cat contacted us initially to achieve a number of goals:
- Lose weight
- Tone up (particularly the stomach, under the arms and upper thighs)
- Improve health and fitness
It was very apparent to me that Cat was a highly motivated individual, right from the get-go. Without hesitation, she immediately began training hard with her goals clearly in mind. During her training, nothing was going to stop her and she was determined to obtain substantial results.
Cat really inspired me with her positive attitude. She is a very busy individual being a mother of three, family chef, running a farm and coaching a netball team! But no matter how busy she was, she always managed to get the workout done, one way or another. I remember her reporting that she would help her children with school homework in between exercises! Cat would also come up with innovative ways to incorporate her exercise and eating regime into her regular daily activities, such as:
- Workout out with the netball team while she was coaching them
- Exercising with the kids
- Running through the vineyard
- Cooking healthy meals for the entire family, not just for herself
What may come as a shock to you is that Cat didn't undertake a strict diet. Particularly on the weekends, she would often sneak in (what she referred to as) "weekend misdemeanours such as cake, biscuits, chocolate and some wine. But you know what - she still made amazing progress because she remained consistent with an overall healthy approach to eating and exercise.
What I enjoyed most about training Cat was her stubbornness. She loved a really tough challenge and refused to fall short of any goals that I set for her throughout our time training together. So, as you can imagine, every single week she made amazing progress with her strength, fitness, bodyweight and measurements. The sky was the limit with Cat because she never, ever gave up!
I feel that Cat is a real inspiration to all the mother's out there. She had such an amazing attitude and believed in herself right from day one. Her hard work and dedication has certainly paid off in just twelve weeks! Now that Cat is armed with the knowledge and self-power to take control of her body, I strongly believe that she will be able to continue these great new lifestyle habits well into the future!
Congratulations Cat on a job well done! You are a true inspiration to us all!
