Practice saying these affirmations when looking at yourself in the mirror. If you find that you can't do it in front of the mirror, try looking at a photo of yourself (either a recent photo or one of yourself as a child) and say out OUT LOUD to yourself, with a gentle SMILE on your dial and filled with FEELING.....
- "I LOVE You"
- "You are FANTASTIC"
- "I will ALWAYS be there for you"
- "You are GORGEOUS"
- "You are the most BEAUTIFUL and SPECIAL person in my life"
Often these are words we are seeking from others, wanting someone else to tell us that they love us, that we are wonderful or that they will always be there for us.
These may be the words you are craving to hear from your parents,
partner, children, friends or peers. Of course we all enjoy hearing praise, receiving complements and feeling loved from others (and encourage lots of it) but JUST IMAGINE if you gave it to yourself first. The truth is we don't
always hear what we want from others, a great way to overcome this
is to GIVE IT TO YOURSELF FIRST!
The magic around this how the LAW OF ATTRACTION works, once you begin giving it first to YOURSELF you will naturally start attracting it from others ;-)
WANT TO GET STARTED - SAY your 5 Affirmations OUT LOUD 3-5 times
EVERYDAY and notice what happens.
The more senses you have involved the MORE POWERFUL the practice
and the GREATER the BENEFITS.
- SEE yourself in the mirror or a photo
- SPEAK the words out loud
- HEAR yourself say the words
- FEEL how it feels to see, speak and hear those wonderful things
about yourself!
Remember, the more you practice, the easier it becomes and the more
natural it will feel. Now have some fun with it and get started!
